Thanks snapper, I know what you mean but we seem to be having "those days" trip after trip. I'm sure I will learn how to remedy this from this site as there apprears to be quite a few gun fishos here.

Hi Guys, I'm new here and thought I should contribute something right off the bat and not just lurk. My cousin and I went out for a fish at Deep water creek Narrabeen right near the bridge. We were using prawn, pillies and live worm and got nothing except a couple of bream that were probably sub 15cm (threw them back of course) and a whiting that had lost its way. We burleyed up and were fishing very light. The only thing I can think of is that it would have been too fresh in the creek. You boys got any thoughts on where we went wrong? We fish every weekend so hopefully I can bring you some more interesting reports in the future.
