I can 2nd that. Bagged out in 10 seconds of bottom time fishing solo. Pulled the fish from an angry mako's mouth chasin my gemmies across the surface. It was like a dog with a bone.

I was trolling at 5.30am in 300-400 fa North and South of Browns until 9.00am and didn't turn a reel or hear of anyone hooking a fin. Lots of birds but no bust ups. A couple of marlin and a dollie was all I heard. I nice chop for the ride home too. Frustrating few weeks for me. Should of been here yesterday hey! Rexaway. Think I saw you in the NC today as you pulled up to put your spread out.

No joy for me today after all day on the troll east and south of Browns. Some good fish were caught though. Lumpy early but it sat down nicely as the day wore on as pedicted. Next time.

Seas below a metre but that could change as there is nasty stuff either side of the prediction. Swell 1.5-2m. How big is your boat and where are you planing on going?

Poacher I was there (SWR) a couple of weeks ago and got 1 nice spanish, spotties and cobia. Slimies were hard to locate. We got them at Jail Peak. Will try and post some pics.

Sounds like a great trip. I head up to hat head this weekend for 3 weeks with my cruise craft 685. Normally I launch I from south west rocks but am keen to try the creek. Is that a Haines 650 and how much either side of low tide did you allow to get in or did you retrieve off the beach?
