I can 2nd that. Bagged out in 10 seconds of bottom time fishing solo. Pulled the fish from an angry mako's mouth chasin my gemmies across the surface. It was like a dog with a bone.

I was trolling at 5.30am in 300-400 fa North and South of Browns until 9.00am and didn't turn a reel or hear of anyone hooking a fin. Lots of birds but no bust ups. A couple of marlin and a dollie was all I heard. I nice chop for the ride home too. Frustrating few weeks for me. Should of been here yesterday hey!

No joy for me today after all day on the troll east and south of Browns. Some good fish were caught though. Lumpy early but it sat down nicely as the day wore on as pedicted. Next time.

Seas below a metre but that could change as there is nasty stuff either side of the prediction. Swell 1.5-2m. How big is your boat and where are you planing on going?

Looks like a break in the weather and with the last week's awesome reports driving me mad with jealousy I have crew on standby to head wide. Will be on 21. Call sign Dorado. Lets hope the action continues and it's not too lumpy!

Poacher
I was there (SWR) a couple of weeks ago and got 1 nice spanish, spotties and cobia. Slimies were hard to locate. We got them at Jail Peak. Will try and post some pics.

Awesome catch guys. We Fished the car park today also and was able to pick up our first marlin from one of the bait balls on the surface.. There was about 4-5 fish smashing a ball of yakkas and we got him on a live yakka.. Was a life time opportunity to see such a beautiful site as the fish were swimming boatside as tho we weren't there..=)
Saw you guys at the ramp. I was the bloke with the Dollie. Went 2,2,1 on day two on a stripey. Dropped a nice black first up . Both on lures.

Sounds like a great trip. I head up to hat head this weekend for 3 weeks with my cruise craft 685. Normally I launch I from south west rocks but am keen to try the creek. Is that a Haines 650 and how much either side of low tide did you allow to get in or did you retrieve off the beach?
