I sense things are on the change in he system and it should only be a matter of time before the big fellas start to come in again.

G'day VA911
If you are in the market for an aluminium boat have a good look at the Aqualine range.
If you are serious take one for a test drive.
Huey was kind enough to take me for a ride in the 590 wit a 150 on the back. 5 Adults and a kid and could not believe the ride.
We went out and around Lion Island on one of those sloppy days and smooth and dry as.
They are expensive but a very clever designed boat.
They are quality and you can the manufacturer to customise it to your requirements.
(My 60K worth!!!!!)

I have one of the big ones.
Fits over the permatrim - just
I usually flush the motor on my front lawn and before I had the bucket there would be a lot of wet muddy area.
I still use muffs to flush so you don't have to fill it right up.
I now use a smaller bucket and pour the used water on the bushes and flowers. Also use this water to was down the trailer and boat. And in winter its nice warm water!!!
Works for me

Been a Mac tragic since 84 BUT I've lost a few phones overboard ( You know the velcro on the fishing shirt or the zip in the trackie top!!!! ).
Nothing like watching a few hundred dollar phone still ringing gliding to the depths!!! So the $59 nokia is what I'm on at the moment..

Good topic nightstalker!
Stay a bastard!!!
I will only tell those I know and have earned my trust.
I used to tell all and sundry and quickly found out by doing that a small armada would arrive at the spots!!!
Also after one good report I made the next day a bloke arrived and laid a 200m net right across the area!
Look what happened to the Kings in Pittwater two years back...
I have been told about some fantastic spots by others. If they arrive (those who told me about it ) on the spot I will usually move.
You can also give people spots but it is how and when they fish the spots that makes the BIG difference.
I have caught fish in amazing places that you would never think of fishing.
One of my biggest thrills in fishing is to find a "New" spot.
Great reds by the way!

G'day irikanji
I use NAB National On Line Trading. I find it pretty good. Trades under $25 000.00 are $29.95 in and the same out.
Rule No 1
DO NOT invest money you cannot afford to loose.
Ruke No 2
Have a goal ie 5% return, 10% etc
Rule No 3
Buy Quality shares
Rule No 4
Do your own research and get to know a stock or a sector. DO NOT listen to your mates especially the ones down the pub!!!
There are very good buys at the moment but DO NOT margin lend at the moment it is far too volatile.

Headed out this morning at Gentlemen's hours and met up with Vagabond in the hope of getting a few livies...
Clocked in with Donna on the mothership (Thanks for the cuppa Donna) and she showed me the pics of the previous nights Hairies.
PK there were a few others caught - a soapie and a tailor I think. Swordie was having a go for some EPs with harbodies.
We tried all our regular spots for livies and even ventured as far as Flint to look for livies. Zip Nada F...all!!!!
Not a touch all day and not a lot on the sounder either!!!!
Whats up in the Hberry???????
Pulled the pin at 5 ish and headed home to watch Cadel make his attempt to be the first Aussie to win the Tour
Hope the rest of you did a little better that us

Sad to say Byron but the Hawkesbury is not doing too well at the moment.
The last eleven trips not much more than bait fish and a few squid. Had some very serious Jew sessions in amongst hem and not even the peckers pickers and low life bottom dwellers are around. Fished with different blokes on different boats and always a big 0. Only good side is the amount of swimmer crabs to be had.
I reckon go try your luck in the Harbour.

Sorry to hear about your your experience. That kind of thing takes a bit out of you. Look after yourself.
Get out there and do some fishing that will help clear the mind.
Maybe we need to have a social up there and ...naaa let the Police deal with them.
