Hi all, Headed out wide yesterday in search for YFT and BFT. We put out a nice spread of skirts at browns then trolled all the way out to heatons hill. No hits at all... We then cubed heatons for a couple of hours and didnt raise a fish. Ive been doing alot of research as we are new to chasing tuna. But have been fishing for years. Am i doing anything wrong or is it that the fish simply wernt around? When you guys talk of temp changes is 17.2 to 17.9 a significant temp change to stop and start cubing in? Also when cubing at heatons the westerly was up a little and the boat was drifting alot is this no good to cube in? Any help appreciated as we have been out a few times now and the biggest fish we are to land are striped tuna.
