Thanks very much everyone for your help. Going to use a small prawn like squidgy & some fresh bait - will give the prawns and mullet a go. Hopefully catch a couple, fingers crossed!

Hi everyone, Very amateur fisherman here (once a year). Going to sussex inlet over new years period, was looking for absolutely any information on good spots to fish (from shore), bait to use, common species, tackle to use, really any info possible. just going to buy a couple of new general fishing rods, some burley and a bait catcher. Would appreciate any tips at all - as I said I'm very amateur. Aim is to catch a couple of eatable fish and become hooked on fishing again Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thankyou!
