I have used a 50LRS with braid before on a mates boat. Never had a dramas just used abit longer wind on. Not sure exactly how much was on the spool. Had 24kg on it Hope that helps

Hi everyone I want fit a drum winch to my Haines hunter 580SF I have measured the anchor well and it will be a very close fit or just too small I'm not 100% sure. Has anyone seen one fitted or better yet has one fitted to their 580. Or if anyone has just brought one of the smaller ones in the syndey area and would considering bringing it around and letting me try to it my well ill provide some refreshments of your desire!!
