Had an afternoon session on the kangaroo river on Saturday,the day after that 40 degree scorcher I put the yak in at bendeela and headed up river. it had been a while since I was on this stretch and I noticed how low the water line was but still managed a few decent bass from various snags This one went 32cm Managed to land 15 in total in a 2.5hr session taken on a crawdad lure And one from the surface on a small cicada.most fish came in at around 25cm but got 2 over the 30cm mark

They are more effective providing the fish takes the bait in one go you are pretty much guaranteed to hook it without having to strike. Little nibblers will not be hooked
