Had a day of work yesterday purposely so i can test out my Berkeley Egi Rod that dad bought me, he quotes as long as you bring me squid home to eat there will be more rods and jigs well he put some pressure on me to try and get some. Decided to hit the eastern suburbs as my uncle always does well on them. Got down to a section of rocks and caught my first one on my first flick and then nothing for 2 hours as i was hopping from rock to rock, as i was about to give up i changed my jig from a 3/0 to a 2/0 and it started getting smashed. Lost a couple of jigs as well so dad will have to replace them if he wants more squid Cheers Anthony.

I wonder if the appropriate authority was informed to check out where the source came from because if it is left alone this time after time which is a shame to the cleanest waterway around Sydney.

Thats a solid shark, how long did it measure and was it caught in the spit bridge area or outside the heads. Thanks Anthony.

A decent bream lands a cobia, thats unbelievable but you never know sometimes when it comes to putting down any type of live fish what could happen, always thought about putting down something other than a yakka. I keep on hearing that fishos are catching these guys in Sydney waters, hopefully one comes my way one day. Nice fish mate Anthony.

Hi, am new to this gotta say site is not complicated to use, back to your NZ trip what a experience which i would love to do one day. I am amazed these monsters are caught on 4kg line which i have never caught only rats which gave me a good fight, good on ya guys. Us it possible to know roughly what a trip like this cost.
