    i fished the last hour of the run in and first hour of the run out tide. 2-4kg 7ft berkley rod with a sedona 2500 with 4 pound braid 4 pound leader. (not 100% sure about the rod and reel specs) i was using sp, wriggler blood worm colour 80mm the wind was between 5-8km/h and not to sure about the barometer. any help would be appreciated cheers!

    Yeah I'll most likely give it a go tomorrow morning with sp's and lures and let everyone no how I went! Any tips for fishing the entrance to the canal, bridge pylons and infront of le montage?

    I wouldn't even have thought the canal or bay would hold fish down there since the water is so polluted and shallow

    looking to go out tomorrow morning land based to throw some soft plastics,poppers and lures around but not sure where to go. any suggestions?

    I try the squidgy bloodworms and they didn't work but I also bought some poppers now haha. Are there any whiting around the sandy flats at the spit at the moment?

    I tried squidgy wriglers the fish with no success, banana prawns and gulp worms. So frustrating especially when they're in sight and you can't hook them!

    haha is the runout tide better than the run in tide there? we didn't end uo fishing downstream, walked down to the boat ramp on the pontoon and let the rest of our prawns go in the water and a massive school of bream come from under the pontoon and demolish them after trying for 3 hours near the pipe haha ohwell. definitely some keepers in there too
