G'day I was hoping someone could tell me where I might be able to pick up some prawns in JB over the easter weekend? And does anyone know if Currarong and Culburra beach hold pipis?

G'day, Would anyone be happy to share their technique for beach jew? Rigs, weight, depth, bait... exact location? joking Interested to know how to fish the gutter without getting tangles, so I guess its more about the rig and weight? At the moment i've been casting out over waves or in gutters and within a couple of minutes my bait is either at my feet or 5kms down the beach with a million twists in the line. Appreicate any input?

They all charge around that much if you want a private boat. $300 will get you a half day reef bash with other groups, an almost guaranteed morning of tangles and frustration. Worth spending the money and booking a game boat, you won’t watch someone else pull in your fish either. All the charters carry massive Pens/Tiagras and if they put you on a 200lbs Ahi you’ll know why. Keeping the fish is standard, most will give you 25-50 lbs though. Still cheaper than the charters in Northern QLD!
