yeah I have now got a PB for whiting.

Took one of my two boys with me to my local beach to catch a few worms on Saturday afternoon, felt a bit like a freak show as so many people were amazed at what I was pulling out of the sand. Ended up with about 20 and five would have been 1m long and pretty solid. Kept them overnight in a bucket of sand then took 3 boys out from Pretty beach, tried our luck under the Rip bridge for 30min but only got a few little snapper and the current was going pretty hard so I moved us up near the oyster leases and that is where we caught these nice whiting 42cm, 38cm & 27cm and of course some more under sized snapper. Finished the morning off with a swim at Lobster beach and a spin out to the heads with a lot of screaming when we got a bit of air over some little waves.
