Thanks for the replies. The Daiwa TDX 762ULFS sounds nice. Thinking I'll end up with the T-Curve and a Sedona 1000 Reel loaded with Braid. The only reason I ended up looking at the G Loomis is a mate has one but then it's is a top of the line model big $$$ version.

About to purchase a new rod for Soft Plastics and surface poppers, both claim a lure cast weight of 1-7g will be mostly working sand flats for whiting, bream, and the occasional flattie. Narrowed it down to two either:- G. Loomis Gl2 9000-2L ESP Shimano TCurve Revolution Inshore 732 The only issue now is which one to pick the GL2 is currently on special. Budget is under $200. Which one would you pick?
