Firstly, Hi to everyone. I've been doing some googling, (hence I found you guys)to try & find out a bit more info, (age & quality mostly) on my surf fishing outfit with mixed results. I found some info on the rod, (but very little), it's a Butterworth Fish Hunter (MT7144) but can't find anything on the reel. It's a Butterworth Project 7000GT, which I bought 2nd hand at a local auction about 13 years ago for $75. It's a great outfit for the big salmon we get here at home but the drag on the reel is playing up a bit so not sure if it's worth getting fixed or just replacing it??? I've attached a photo of each, hope they help. Thanks in advance Mick
