  18. Went out for a bream session at Meadowbank wharf saturday night was fishing with servo prawns (not fresh at all!). Got there about 17:30 and all was quiet then ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! after a few minutes pulled up a blue nosed bream around the 45CM mark and back he went since bream are one of the last fish Ill eat from that far up the river. Launched another prawn bait out then got the handline out and pulled a few live mullet but had nothing to hold them in so I kept one and butterflied (SP?) it then sent it out still half alive. All was quiet for about half an hour then just as the sun started to go down ZZZZZZZZZZZZ! after about 5 mins I pulled out a rat kingie @40cms! Now I was hardly expecting this so I didnt have a net, brag mat or even my phone to take a pic (Was in the car) so I sent him back. Tried for more mullet to have another go with but they were goneskis.... Anyone have any idea what a kingy would be doing in Meadowbank at this time of year????? Would you guys eat one from there? Cheers Shannan
  19. Looks like it was still worth the trip. Thanks for the report mate. Cheers Shannan
  20. just buy however many licences you need (max number of people you take out) and leave them in a water proof container on the boat.
  21. Sincere condolences mate. Getting busted off is the worst thing about fishing well apart from not getting any bites.
