    Bad luck on the mako . They are most defiantly good eating , once you get a taste of catching them you seem to do it more often just be careful because they seem to want to bite everything including your motor , we have had the boats all scratched up due to there aggressive ways trying to bite what ever is in thre way.

    Hi Dfishin apparently the current is 0.7 of a knot as a few mates were out today and gave the report. I will be out Tommorrow looking for a marlin call for Tie on 21 if anyone needs info

    Using 24kg outfits and scent blazer pusher head single rig and I always set my strike at 7 kg . But geeee I am very happy with the scent blazer lures every outing I have been on later I have been raising fish some stick and some don't unfortunately

    Hi damo We fished on Saturday out of port and hooked up to nice blue in 140 FMS after 20 mins of fighting it threw the hooks when it decided to go belistic in the air. Also dropped a black around the same area that's lure fishing I guess you don't always get them to stick...

    Some body post that the marlin have turned on at port stephens and that they are getting ten marlin a day

    Crongrats on the black did you find much bait out of port stephens ? As I am going up Thursday and want to make up my mind weather to fish around seals rock or car park area any info would be appreciated .

    A mate of mine got 4 yellow fin not monsters but up to 15kg on Christmas tree skirts on Sunday at the back of browns . Also got 3 albies . If that helps anyone

    Hi josh82 we got them south east of browns in 1500fathoms if that helps. Let me know how you go as I am going out on Saturday and would like to know if they are still hanging around there. I might add we were 40 nm out of Sydney when we got them. Good luck

    Hi guys we were out there today also and lost a blue fin on a cube the water temp that all the fish were caught in is 19.5 degrees . We were all in the samee area as the other boats that hooked up but there is a nice break in temp and that's where they were holding up. Kind regards juiced
