I personally used to use high octane on my old 25hp yamaha but was told not to use it on my new boat 75 hp and that was from the yamaha dealer at the show

Give it a go as last year was the first time it was all under one roof the show will continue to be better every year Its better than being in a washed out swamp land that Silverwater was nearly every year Ill be there with bells on again

As per promised these units are crap due to the speaker not being water proof unlike the new AM FM Gme sterio AND they can be dash mounted or under dash mounted and dont bother ring Gme as they would't know if there arses were on fire

Ihad the same problem with mine until I bought the GME cover for $29 and shes sweet they are a crappy set up due to water getting in the speaker when washing Ill put up a photo to show soon

Joe I just got back from a week away at Nelson bay with the wife and kids if you need a a hole saw set I can lend you mine its a Starrett set and drills through Alloy fibre glass or timber It has 35mm 50mm 80mm and 100 mm sizes I always found putting masking tape on the area helped the bit from slipping or chipping the paint work as a hint

Another method big fella is to use the rod holders you have and then use the bermuda add ons for about $75 there not bad just make sure you use the rod holders with the gimble end and not the round ended type as they spin round and jump out in the rough And if you need a staritt set to drill the hole give us a bell matie
