Thanks for the day out OLC, despite the lack of fish it was still a day of non stop action! One for the memory banks that's for sure .

Namesay you're going off like a frog in a sock !!! Consistently catching fish and the quality my goodness, at the moment you are Mr Middle Harbour! Now about those spots .

All in all I caught over a dozen fish. It still amazes me that the kings stop biting as soon as the sun sets. I think they are sight feeders . Hi Kelvin my theory (for what its worth) its not so much that Kingies are sight feeders but squid are and so they order their movements around them. Nice lil session btw

Steve there is no secret spots for squid look for clean water, kelp and rock, depth if I can see the bottom then its worth a go. No result after half an hour or so move on.

I'll have those two in the boat by weeks end. Been targetting these brutes for some time now and I reckon they are just about the perfect fish!! Go like the clappers and beautiful to look at. Still not sure how to cook em right yet, haven't tried them raw but by the sounds of it doesn't look like a bad option.

Nice work Namesay, now please go on a holiday or something and leave some for the rest of us!

The yozuri shrimp hunters are the bomb, better than any other jig I've used. But they will cost you an arm and a leg
