Hi guys After spending many years as a passenger I am finally lashing out and buying a boat. The boat I have hot very keen on is a ally craft 475 bar raider with a Johnson 1997 50 hp 2 stroke. I took it for a run a couple of days ago and discovered a leak in the power tilt The guy that is selling it had told me some fluid with a sealing compound should fix it. Has anyone tried this and if so how long did it take to reseal. Following on does anyone know the cost of getting a new set of rings and seals fitted or even if they are available for a motor this old Thanks
