Quite a while ago ( 15yrs?) remember Dad reading a article in the paper about a trainer losing half a greyhound that he was training down at the Georges river. Down on the river near Georges hall somewhere. The dog was going for a swim waist deep and bang. Hence he didn't win anymore races.

Im bloody keen for a demo night,I will definately attend.I'd like to know how to rig up trolling lures, which ones work best and how to use them.Also how to rig up bait. Shaun.

Could a fishraider please told me what the legal size is for flounder.Was a clifton gardens yesterday in boat and caught a couple of flounder that were 26cms.We released them cause our chart didnt have them listed and they seemed a bit small. Also caught a 44cm flattie there @ Cliftons on prawns have photo but me being shite at computers havent been able to get them of my camera software onto this site.(if someone could help me there would be great also. Last but not least i just want to say this site is awesome I'm new to fishing and have learnt heaps from fellow fishraiders since being a member. Cheers Shaun.

never mind mate I've had the same luck at the nepean fishing for Bass lately. Plenty of Bass around those areas just keep tryin.As long as you have a couple of Shaun

Nice bass mick, what part of the river were you getting the hits from.Ive been fishing the river (weir end ) for the past couple of weeks and only managing small ones up to 20cm. Regards Shauno

Hi Fish raiders, this is my first crack of posting!! Hope all out there had a good chrissy Just wondering if anyone out there could help me with picking a few good spots to fish in parramatta river. Big Santa brought my young ones some fishin gear in the hope of them getting hooked onto fishing. Would like to try soft plastics as I here they are pretty good plus my little girl and WIFE?? want complain about the smell of the bait then. Thanks Shauno
