Theres a big boat ramp near the fishing club its down on the harbour you cant miss it, as for marks i cant help you but to get live bait just north of mutton bird island is a good spot, theres also a few spots you cant fish they are marked on a map at the boat ramp

Using a garden hose would be a bit hard going but a pressure cleaner would rip them off quick

Hopefully get some mullet/gar fishing in saturday and sunday morning and work both arvos. Might be able to get something going sunday night and moday.

I was thinking the same thing a few weeks ago so i kept one and filleted it wasnt hard to clean little bit of a pain because its shark skin but apart from that cleaning was fine. It seemed to dry out really quick after a few minutes it felt try and after it was baked it was really dry and not very nice to eat my dog liked it but.

What i do is grab the crab by the flippers sometimes they drop them but u can just use 1 leg 1 flipper then, then i give them a hard crack in the face with a rolic they die instantly but hold them over the side of the boat they lose alot of fluit after u do it. This has worked for me for about 15 years and for my dad for about 45 years we always clean them when we get home they always taste great, good luck not sure if thats how u spell rolic, its what the ors go in

i like to use normal yabbies, beach worms and little bits of mullet for flathead and bream all of them work if you can get some poddie mullet they are unreal for flathead live and dead

after reeding all these posts i had to get my lines out to check and my 50lb broke at 20-25, the 20 broke at 9 but my 6 was always breaking a little over 7-8 lb. the 20lb is a little old but so its not a true reading but the 50 is basically new. not a happy camper lucky mono to replace it is cheap.
