  1. I have also pulled out my old 27m and installed the VHF. Happy to be in on the course. Good opportunity to meet with a few members as well. Count me in and advise the time and place. Thanks Rob
  2. Not a bad idea. I look at the forums nearly every day and find the site a great source of info. Family and work commitments do not allow nearly as much fishing as I want, so I dont get to contribute much either. Looking forward to chasing some tuna down south (JB) as I have booked a few leave passes with the wife. My 6m plate is getting lonley in the driveway....... Be sure to post the results. Rob
  3. Thanks for that. I will be out there Saturday morning - launching at Brooklyn. Hopefully I will get a result from some fresh baits. Cheers Rob
  4. Hi all, Here goes my first post. Been reading the reports and posts on and off for about a month, you guys seem to be a great bunch. I fish from my 5m 1/2 cab (when I am allowed) usually around Pittwater / Broken bay area. I have had mixed success over about 12 months. Highlights are some good size bream and flatty from Flint n Steel, but not much luck when conditions allowed a wider search. Only one ore two salmon last summer. Normally using weighted or unweighted pillies and squid anchoured up and on the drift. Can anyone assist with recommending some spots or tips for this area for Kings as the wife is beginning to doubt that I am going out at all............... Planning a venture for saturday (I cant get to the social!) hope u guys can help. cheers
