  7. Gday all..been a while since i posted. Anyhow at a recent ABT bream event on the georges river i caught a bream with a ring in its mouth and it had like a lil red tag coming off it. It went 25.5cm to the fork and i was jst wondering what this means? I know of certain comps where they release bream with a ring in its mouth (seperate from ABT) and you have to capture them to win or something but this one was probably just one that never got caught? ? DAN

  11. Hey all, Just wondering if anyone is experienced in the field of extracting freshwater species(bass, redfin) and placing them in your own tank. Some tips would be greatful, My tank is 100x60x60.. Since they are freshwater species, i'm guessing that i will only require an aerator and maybe a filter. Will i need to take into consideration water temp, turbidity, PH and subrates or don't these have a great affect on the fishes' survival.. Anyhow any help is greatly appreciated DAN
  12. Just thought i'd post up a few pics of a good fishing session 3 weeks ago. It was an early start as we pravailed through the rough conditions. Seas were choppy and the wind was whaling however the decision to persist and go on instincts proved succesful and made the day more than worthwhile. The squid were in patches, however they were few and far between but in schools. Our total tally for the day was 39 and a half(that is because a cuttlefish decided he'd consume half of a squid whilst we were pulling him up) Our biggest for the day went 1.7kg which is the 4th or 5th from the bottom left in the pic. The squid 2 small cuttles DAN
