Pulpit Rock, just north of green cape lighthouse is pretty good, good access and deep water. A lot of the beaches have salmon around. Mogereeka for bream and flatties. Squid off either Merimbula or Tathra wharf or Kianinny (off the headland opposite the boat ramps)
The tri-estuary challenge is on the 20th and 21st Nov so there should be a few fisherman about.

Also try north of Merimbula at Bournda Beach.

Was talking to a local elder down here the other day about catching worms at the beach.
His story was that he used pipis as the bait in their shell since they are their natural food source. He would open the shell and mince around inside with a knife. He would use the usual stink bag to get them up then use the pipi in the shell as the attractant. The worm would go into the shell to get the minced up pipi and he would simply close the shell, catching the worm with its head inside.
Might have to give this a go.

Wanda beach always worked for me but any of the beaches will do. If you are talking about buying them, try Micks Bait shop just north of Tom Ugly's Bridge. Has been a while since I bought any but worth a shot.

Congwong Bay, Cruwee Cove and along the front of the national park at Kurnell for squid. Yakkas usually where the tugs tie up along Fishburn Rd.

I normally fish Wapengo etc, haven't tried Wallaga but if you are interested in trying out the hobies I can drag my 2 up and give it a go.

I still think bait collecting is the fun part of fishing, whether it be squid, mullet or nippers.

The lake/estuary is the Clyde River. Flows out at Batemans Bay.

I was out on the charter. Was a quiet day for the kings but did land some just under sized. Was a great day out.

I used to catch the ferry many years ago when living in Kurnell. The storm of 1974 saw an end to that when the wharves were destroyed.
It will be good to see it back especially for those that work in the city, it will be a huge time saving in travelling.

Chasing tuna and trout in Tassy and the good thing is, you can drive there.

Tomakin is good along the ramp side of the river. You can walk the shallows all the way to opposite Mossey Point. Have done that quite a few times. Mainly flathead and whiting.
