Just notice I uploaded 3 of the same photos lol not the best on computers.

Went fishing yesterday morning in botany dropped the boat off at 6am at foreshore boat ramp. Anchored in the middle of mollies point burlied up and after 1hr or so wasn't much happening so we moved into river near kyle bay so anchored there burlied again and caught 4 good size whiting a couple of blackfish. It started to slow down and before I knew it I felt a big pull and my rod bent into the water after 10 mins of fight we pulled up a 45cm trevelly, I have pulled up alot of trevelly in botany but none that size. Not sure if its common in botany or is it very rare to catch that size. The smile on my face was still there when I got home. Awesome day one I wont forget Im still trying to work out how to add photos of it

Does anyone know where a good spot is in botany bay to catch live bait fish Or any ideas on what rig works best

Stupid me I forgot to check the swell got home checked it on fox swell was 3mtrs. Usually the bay is good we always come back with a feed we moved around abit until I got sea sick ( I tried not to think about it but it got the better of me) I just gave up my brothers had a laugh and I felt like throwing them over board lol

Had a shocker in botany bay today (19/4/14) no bites massive swell and a strong current there was no wind on the radar and at the foreshore boat ramp. If there is one thing I know is that when botany bay bad it gets worse a day to forget. Tried fishing at mollies point swells were smashing up against the rocks gave that the sack reel quick got sick from swell till we had enought just went home a day of fishing to forget better luck next time
