  1. Thanks guys. There were some salmon round, but it was quite tough fishing - I'm used to surf fishing in SA where they school up more.
  2. Absolutely - it took half a yakka. They all took yakka baits that day.
  3. Some noteworthy captures from the beach in the last few months on the central coast. Cheers JT
  4. Some captures from a trip I had to Harrington/Taree are attached. This was my first tailor (as they don't seem to populate Victoria or SA where I'm from). I got bitten off by a few before I discovered what they were. The bigger one came out to 63cm. Enjoy. JT
  5. I've moved not long ago to NSW from Victoria and spent last weekend exploring the Port Stephens area. Fished the following spots - Stockton Beach, Fingal Bay and One Mile. Notable captures are attached in the photographs. A good mix of salmon, tailor and bream. I also saw a schoolie caught by a fellow angler on the beach. One question I have was that I saw some schools of luderick looking fish under the shoal bay jetty - but they looked a bit silver for luderick (although I saw their stripes). Are people successful catching them off jetties? Enjoy.
