Hey guys
Just wanting to see where you guys think good spots to hit up some squid round sydney harbour are from the boat?
Any areas that produce well?

Hey guys
Just picked up the new boat last week its a stessco Basstracker 395
We got a live well and a live bait tank in the boat, rod holders round the sides and a 30HP Suzuki on the back
The boat is brand new and really tidy
Just wanted to ask what you guys think of taking it to places with the like of lion island and places like rose bay in sydney harbour?
Any other places you think it would handle?
Look forward to seeing what u guys think

Going fishing hawkesbury this weekend with the old man
Just bought our new boat and gona try and get into some jewies and maybe some flathead
HUGE thanks to Jewgaffer the guy really knows his stuff and has been a great help in the past with me and the old man getting into some jewfish from the beaches
Will post a report if we get into some fish over the next 3 weeks due to us having christmas holidays were gona be fishing most of it

What is the closest boat ramp to launch from? I have not been there for some time and cannot remember the last ramp we launched from.?

Where are the jewels located in this bad boy?

Well me and the old man went out to Narra beach last night in search of finally hooking onto a nice jewie
Both loaded with our new beach rods and reels and some nice squid we had caught earlier
Both rods are out and were just talking when my rod just goes mental and drag is screaming off it..after the first run i start bringing in some line and then SNAP... 40 pound leader couldnt take it ...
So re bait and rod out again...
Then dads alvey and rod absolutely doubled over with the drag screaming off
"I think its big" he said... haha
After a decent fight and a few more runs..especially when he got close to the shore he gave quite a tussle.. he managed to get it close enough for me to run down and drag its a$$ up the beach
Went 103cm and muchly over 10KG...We had a weigher but it only goes to 10KG and this thing almost broke that haha so we are thinking maybe 15KG what u guys think?? where can u get these weighed? for future reference?
Nice fish and lots of happy laughing and cheering when we got it in
Sorry i think Dad forgot to open his eyes for both photos haha
Would like to know how u guys clean and fillet these big ones? can someone please PM me on this or tell me of a good way to do this?
Got a shovel nose too but other than that a great night to celebrate Aussie Day

Well we caught one around 80cm not long ago and that would have to be a bit bigger so i would say 90 too
