My mate, cleans up on large mullet in our local creek using this small buzzing hard bodied beetle-like lure that swims on the surface. He uses 6 lb line. I've seen it myself, I thought it was the wierdest thing. Has anyone else heard of mullet taking hard-bodies lures? I'm a traditionalist and have always stuck to getting my hands dirty with doe. G'day guys, Would just like to know, is it possible to catch tailor and or other pelagics at night using metal Halcos? If so, how do the fish know it's actually bait - purely movement??? Very intrigued. Cheers, Fluoro

G'day guys, Just joined in order to tap into the wealth of knowledge here. I've recently purchased a 651 E5 Alvey (spooled with 50 lb) for some serious rock and cliff fishing, but as of yet have not been able to narrow down my rod selection. Looking at a Snyder (low mount) ofcourse but open to any other (off the rack) suggestions that would suit. Cheers, Fluoro
