Hi all, Have been fishing in Sydney harbour most of my life, recently returning from a several year break. I've been bitterly disappointed with my lack of success, seems there's no fish left in the harbour these days apart from a few small bream and an evening catfish (since when did we see catfish in the harbour?). I have been fishing at my usual spots, snails bay, on a drift at balls head, taylor bay using prawns and mackerel but no luck apart from the odd small bream. Back in the day we would be sure to catch different species, flathead, trevally, decent size bream, even the odd John Dory. Keen to hear if others have had the same experience as me or whether the lack of fish is due to the winter months and more luck awaits in the summer? Any other spots where I should try my luck?
