D and L Witchards Seafoods, Ocean Beach Road.
standard disclaimer - I have no connection with them, just an occasional customer.
I also go there can vouch for them

Penn prevail 9 or 10ft would be perfect for that reel and will cast miles and isn’t to exspensive and very good rods

I didn't know they were a different species, but I have caught those ones with the funny looking scales at Port Kembla in the little lagoon at Kemblawarra, they have tried all sorts of methods to get rid of the Carp, but they are still there, and it's only really a quite small area.
You talking about the coomaditchie lagoon thing

Bait of the breakwall in port kembla is thicker then iv seen it the last few months

Can't say I would be too thrilled about being out on the break wall if it was as bad at Port Kembla as it was here, the storm came in from kind of south east, and stayed right on us, them broke up moving east back out to sea, my son lives about 10 minutes away and they got light rain, wind and saw the lightning over towards the ocean where I am, so it was very localised.
Yep was definantly as bad

Was fishing the port kembla breakwall as it was coming got home just as it started raining then 15minutes later the lightning started.. as I was leaving the breakwall a guy was walking out to start fishing told him he shouldn’t be going out there but kept going anyway hope he’s alright
