I get a few similar claiming to be from Telstra or NBN and I usually string them along for a while, then tell them I am working on an operative from the Federal Police and the call has been traced, and Interpol will be at their door in minutes, they swear then hang up.

Bloke I know says he’s with ASIO and asks how they got this number, that’s it already been traced and they should expect visitors shortly 😂

  3. Read a couple of news website articles that had the swell at Wedding Cake Island at 6m . . .. . and some bloke, well a Brazillian World Champ, was out there on a bodyboard and caught a couple of waves! 😲

  4. So sorry to hear that…. You and your wife will be changed forever, I know my parents were when my brother died.

Hug your loved ones. Often. And don’t be afraid or ashamed to talk about mental health. Seek help if you need it. Offer help if you can. 🫂

This is the best advice…… always talk about what you are going through….

As the listener you don’t have to have the magic words, often just being there is a help.

I readily talk about what I have been through to anyone who wants/needs an ear. It’s only what I went through and may be nothing like what others go through, but talking definitely helps.

No-one is alone or an island, even though it can feel like it.

est of the ferry wharf and you walked across the old boardwalk wharf to get there. I think t was called Manly Marineland and was a couple of story's high and circular. They had small tanks around the walls inside and divers would enter the tank and feed the fish and sharks (which was awesome bravery to a kid!)

This is what I remember well!

  6. Definitely was an Aquarium as Wazza mentioned. My grandmother had a unit at Fairlight and we visited the Aquarium many times over the years.

I learnt to swim in the pool at Fairlight, lots of fond memories.
