I have been fishing in the hunter river and swansea. But I wanted to try new spot,so my children and I headed to spearspoint. And there was a jetty where I caught some livies (herrings). hooked them to two rods with sinker sliding rig. After waiting 2-3 hours, there was big drag sound from the real. I thought it was a stingray something like this. But it turned out to be 84 cm dusky flathead. Cheers
