  4. Hi Raiders, on Saturday Morning i decided to head out to Pitt water with my dad to try out my new Kayak. We left at 5:00 am for the beach off Barrenjoey Rd all set to have a good days fishing. We were using pilchards, prawns and SPs and didn't have much luck at first but it was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect and after seeing so many fishing boats around we were confident around 7:00 am i was casting out SPs and using the burn and kill technique. after about 11 passes i felt a slight tugging on the line. i yanked back on the line and hooked up a decent fish. after a short fight i had it up beside the boat and recognized it a 35-40 cm Tailor. I pulled him in and and released him after extracting the hook. Sadly there was no more fish after that but over all an excellent day and am going to head out there more. Cheerz William101000
