  1. Top stuff mate, congrats on a cracker jew.
  2. Hey Haraka, Just remember one thing "if you think you are fishing too shallow.......fish shallower" I have caught and lost fish in water as shallow as 3 metres.
  3. HAHAHAHAHA he has been harassing me tonight for exactly the same thing. PM me mate we'll organise it.
  4. Good luck Noah, hope you have a ball. PM me if you want some possies
  5. Glad you liked the report and pics lads Haraka, i've got nothing to hide as i am still learning myself. What works well for me is the 5 inch gulp jerkshads in most colours however my favourite colour is 'sardine', the top fish came on the lime/tiger colour. I was fishing between 5-11 metres, and the retrieve was allowing the plastic to hit bottom and then giving it a few short sharp tweakes of the rod tip. There are no secrets really, you just have to experiment. Laredo, JB is fairly protected in the right conditions, however we were fishing into a very stiff SSeaster, luckily the wind was at our back.
  6. Cheers lads, it was an awesome arvo, many more of those to come this summer i'll give you the tip
  7. I finally got out for a serious UNI free soft plastic snapper session, unfortunately the wind was blowing 30+ but the fishing was amazing. All up we landed 4 keepers and good mate Shannon got smoked by 2 fish estimated at 6kg+ each. It was a top day, and i am so glad UNI is over. I told you the snapper weren't safe anymore. Catch ya later. About 3.5kg And another

  20. Thanks for the heads up loomy, do they make them in 5 inch by any chance??
  21. You are right on the money there, however forget fishing near the brifge, there are plenty of flatties but they are generally small. Instead i suggest you head up river till you come to the first feeder creek (about 1klm from the bridge) and drift the drop off close to sure for some solid flathead. You have every chance of jagging a jew there as well. The run in tide is best in that possie. Good luck
  22. That's cause all you lot caught them all last year
  23. Too many reports and pics with the area clearly in the background has had an effect IMO.
  24. 5" Berkely jerk shad, somewhere near kiama
