My friend is a true great fisherman. Which is seen when he picks a pylon at a wharf to fish around, when he cast from a wharf or rocks he know's what area he it targeting, or his berley they are sensational.

Like various other members, I have been wondering where are the fish at Clifton Gardens, Bradley Head, and Port Jackson in general ? Well a mate of mine caught 4 JDs, endless Salmon, 2 legal size Kings and lost a 100cm King and it is not even November. The JDs and Kings were taken on live Yakkas of about 10 cms and the bigger baits were not touched. After about 8:30am a bait wasn't touched and the Salmon were all caught on lures

As a teen 40 years ago, you could put a yakka out at Clifton Gardens anytime of the year and I always caught something, from kings, tailor, salmon, JD to the big bite off. It was a location if you had live bait you caught fish, but this winter is very poor. As far as using yakkas I cut the top part of the tail off so the fish would swim irregularly, rather than shortening the tail to slow the fish. Thank you everyone for your replys. Kev

Through August I have fished from Clifton Gardens to Bradley's Head, with little success and I was wondering is anyone else catching fish? I haven't fished for a few years, it was August and with the clear water are probaly the main reasons for my lack of success, but I'm still surprised with catching a small amount of fish. I was targeting king, tailor, JD, squire, and flathead. Thank you Kev

I have plans to fish Bradley Head to Clifton Garden (shore based) next w/end and I'm wondering how that area is fishing or anywhere else that is fishing well in the Harbour or Middle Harbour? Thank you Kev
