  1. Howdi, fellow fishraiders Unbelievable fishing weather offshore the past week manage to get out 3 times and a night session on the Dollies. All three days we've come back in with a mix of Dolphin fish, Stripies, Rat Kings and a small Jellybean Yellowfin 2km off Bondi. I get a call yesterday morning from a mate asking me to go out and have a crack at the Fads once again. Throw in all the gear and we arrive at cooks at 2pm. Launched the boat and Wham batteries dead . After some help getting the boat back on the trailer after a hand from other boaties.. That was tops if anyone was a raider I owe you a carton . We got back home my fishing partner looks a bit dissapointed as I haven't been able to break his Dollie virginity which I've been promsing for years. We pass Repco on the way home so i stop the car. "Won't be sec mate". Grab another battery and we turn back too cooks. By this time its around 4 oclock and we don't get out through Botany heads until about 4:30-quarter to 5. At the FAD and nobody else around but no sign of any Dollies. Trolled, threw pillies, sluggos nothing until we get a hit on old faithful Whitebait by a Whoping! 38cm dollie. The day light begins to disapear so we plan to only stick around for another hour max. Fishing mate throws out a live yakka and drifts it beside the chain of the fad...ZZZZZZZZZ. The little 3500 baitrunner screams, amte yells start up the motor and we give chase. 15 mins of carrying on and a 9 Kilo Dollie. Awesome . We slowly make our way to the Fad again, Mate yells LOOK DOWN! We see 3 Bulls hovering around the back. My Pillie goes in and Bang another fish close to the 9 kilo mark, Mate also hooks up but gets dusted on the chain. We call it a night about 7:30 too very happy fishos Hainesfisho
  2. Headed out to the bouy again today, the temp was below 22 degrees, didn't get into any dollies until we hit the wide fad, alot of small bonito at the wave buoy though
  3. Howdy mate, 2 days ago we mananged a near 70cm speciemen at the Wave Recorder up couple k south east of Botany if that is the one your talking about. All we saw were a few Fad rats about 45-50cm not much at all until dropped a bait down with a heavier ball sinker. Had more luck at the close fad with 20 odd fish but the I think the Bouy is more than worth a shot. Haines fisho
