Any rockfishing within Randwick Council area, I dont think they ll make a difference between high or low ledge. So when some idiots that cant swim get washed off by a 6ft wave, they can wait for the chopper to rescue them... Also I often see more people than fishermen wandering on the rocks, with no knowledges of waves breaking and they dont have to wear anything... Plain stupids rules but they ll say they did something to minimise the risk..

Nice report and congrats on that fish! I love that spot too, good washes, deep blue water and structures holding baits. I ve always been wondering how hard it would be to pull a decent king and you show us its makeable as long as you dont get reefed and then time the landing with a wave. Hey what strenght of leader were you using to get it rubbed off all the way through?

Nothing racist in that read. Call a cat a cat. Sick of finding rubbish on the rocks too. They know what they re doing and think they can get away with it all the time. Few times I had to ask people who were leaving to grab their rubbish otherwise they would've left everything.. They re grubs and should get fined for that, the same way as you get fined for throwing rubbish out the window.

Swellnet with the morning reports with the size of the waves, tides and live winds recorded every hour. Good before going to an arvo flick off the rocks or even morning as they record wind at night too. For weather forecast, surf, rain, cloud and wind, I use windguru.
