hello I recently went fishing for snapper. I had 40cm trace but I didn't even get a nibble. I think it might be the location but I was just wondering do you think it could be not enough trace? Thanks from flattefisher .

So a size 2 long shank hook is what I used for the bait. I used squid i also used a running size 1 ball sinker

Derek liveshrimp got me a 40cm tailor and bait got me 5 small bream and 2 just under legal flathead.

Soft plastics like gulp are great though because they last long and have a great scent

It is true that you will get bigger fish on lures most of the time

I believe that bait is better than lures because it creates more species to possibly catch. But I want to know what others think so please say lures or bait and why.

Gunnamatta bay at port hacking is great for flathead bream and whiting they are all easy fish to catch. Also if you want to go north narrabeen is great for those species as well also there is meant to be some jewies in there.

Hi there taking a friend fishing for his first time. I really want to take him somewhere where he can catch a fish. Thinking Roseville bridge chucking a unweighted prawn out. Will this work? Thanks flattefisher.
