Was out this morning plenty of strippes tuna around off port kembla.

I can deal with that. im a 50yr old pearl diver from broome. Mako s are harmless its the other species the crocidile we fear.lol. So its legal. thanks for ur info champ. cheers

We use a Buoy with a flag on the surface with a rope dropped down abt 2m with a burley bucket and metal reflectors. Use them with great success in broome with palagics. We tie it off abt 5-10m away from boat.

I was wondering if there is any out there that would now if a home made FAD thats tied to your boat is illegal in NSW. Ive just moved back here from Broome and am not sure .. thanks.

Hi Guys my name is Carl and ive just moved down here from Broome, was diagnosed with leukemia and been told il have to stay for a couple of years. Last week my boys suprised me by bringing my boat across for me and cant wait for a fish. I was wondering if there were any locals that could put me onto a few spots around Port kembla. I have a 23ft ex commercial boat so im able to travel abit outwide. I dont keep my catches nor do my sons. We get pics and release. We just love fishing. Im in the process of putting a name on my boat and will inform when done Always keen to meet new people so if you guys use Port Kembla boat ramp and you see a big commercial tinny give us a Yell.
