  6. Roberta Blackies is something I really want to catch I just need to find a good spot give it a try I have bought the gear I need but still havent used it. Hopefully soon I will. Thank for that I will go have a look at the squidges in black/gold Autocad I dont really know where to fish with soft plastics but my guess is anywhere that you would fish with baits as for the part of the tide I noticed more action about 2hr before the top of tide and then it started to slow down.

  11. A mate and I headed to the Entrance for a few hours on saturday afternoon about 430pm. From the moment we put out our first baits out we were getting bites and hook ups from alot of undersize bream. So I decided after about an hour that I might try my soft plastics as I have never caught anything on them yet and was desperate to try. So I grabbed my little overhead that I have been trying to learn how to cast and started flicking it out got a few birds nests but started to get the hang of it after a bit and managed to catch my very first fish on a soft plastic a nice 40cm Flatty As the sun started to set the tailor come on the bite for a little while and we both had fun hooking up some of them unfortunately they were all undersize but still great fun. We left at about 900pm So it was a day of first for me First fish on soft plastics and, First fish on the perviously unblooded rod and reel hopefully the picture works cheers David
