Took a mate out trolling for the first time today. He showed me up in the early stages of the day by catching a few Callop, and a big carp. It was getting late in the day and we commenced our last trolling run, hoping to get a last minute cod, but we never thought it would happen, until the 140mm JD Python in the rod holder slammed down - 112cm 20kgs and my 12 month drought was broken!!! JD Python 1m+ number 2 I was ready to go home, but Justin talked me into finishing the run, but part of the way through i suggested we move a bit further on and try casting at some fallen trees. Third cast i was on, and what a way to end the day!! 125cm, 30kgs. On a Deep diving Knols Native - now you know why i would pay $30 for them!!!

Hey! Wondering what everyone got up to on the Long Weekend. I got a couple of big Murray Cod in SA.... My first for over 12 months. Some people think it is easy here in SA, but its been bloody hard for me lately! Cheers! Nathan
