Hi I’m new to this website. I’m planning to buy a fishing rod and reel and go fishing during this summer holiday. I have heard that Sydney Harbour water is polluted and fish caught up from there cannot be eaten. So if I want to catch some fish that is good to eat where should I go?? Is Coogee beach a good place to fish?? thx

People says that fish from Sydney Harbour cannot be eaten bc the water is polluted. I want to go rock fishing during holiday but don’t know where are the polluted areas. Can I eat the fish I caught??? And also is fish caught from like Coogee beach or Cronulla good to eat?
