Gday Raiders, I am heading up to Minnie Water in a few weeks for a bit of a fish and a surf. Can anyone tell me what the actions been like? or some good spots. I will be only fishing from the rocks and beaches, got a few tailor up there last year but hoping to target some jew or drummer. Any info would be great. cheers.

Just wondering if anyone has had any luck catching Drummer on soft plastics. If so what type and what gear do you use. Ive always got some beauties on prawns, cunje and ab gut using 30lb mono but I am willing to keep a few lures in my bag when the bait runs out on a session.

I caught this fish off the rocks in Port Macquarie. I was fishing for drummer Not sure what it is? searched a few sites but no proper id. In the pic I have scaled it but it had yellow stripes/spots that you can see on the head continued down the body.

Can you tie braid to braid? what knot is best?

what is the difference between the Shimano baitrunner 6500 and the 6500B? Someone told me the 6500B are not as good? cheers
