    The boat is new, as in straight from the manufacturer. Thank you for all of your answers. Luckily I already have the trailer and it’s registered in NSW (from a previous boat). So, just to clarify, I will need to get a HIN certificate in NSW and this is not something which can be provided by the dealer in QLD?

    G’day all, I’ve got my eyes on a new boat in QLD which I want to bring back down to NSW. The boat has never been registered in QLD. What do I need to do to make the initial registration in NSW? Can a QLD vendor provide a HIN certificate that will be recognised in NSW? Are there any “gotchas” to be aware of? Thanks, Darbio
