had a reasonable day.... alot of little yellowtail were around which were fun to catch and i also used em as liveis... caught about eleven of those and then fished some prawn after i had a go with some sps... still cant crack the code... and with the prawns caught about 7 squire all around the 30cm mark and then a lovely bream to top off the day. The livie went off once but nothing landed... seemed like a flathead or John Dory.. shame i didnt bring it in Overall nice day though and good weather will post some pics later on tonight

how is the squidding at rose bay?? havent heard to much about it?

Im in Double Bay.. but i have no idea where to get any in rose bay or anywhere... im landbased and usually fish at parsley bay.. Could you please help me in finding some...

Does anyone know where to get some bait in the eastern suburbs like a servo in rose bay or a convenience store... just something like that... thanks for the help

Thanks ross, ill have ago very soon if thats the case... what sp do you recommend.. probably the best i have are some 5cm shrimp in nuclear chicken colour (gulp) do you think they'll do the trick?

most beaches along the eastern seaboard of NSW will have a good amount of fish and the beaches vary every day... if you can get up on high ground and look at the beach it will give you a good hint to whats going on... you want to be looking for holes etc. off the shore

For those based in the sydney area im just wondering where the best areas are for a land based fisherman are around the eastern suburbs of sydney (im based in double) ive heard parsley bay are good for an odd kingy, flathead, squid, leatherjacket, snapper and whiting and that rosebay is good for blackfish and flatties so on but im also wondering how double bay jetty fishes and how it goes for squid too, or just in general any good areas close. hlep is greatly appreciated cheers Mitch
