Hi all, I'm new here so here goes my first post. Seeking opinions and or preferences on a 9-foot beach rod targeting tailor, mulloway, salmon etc predominantly with lures. I'm torn between a Samaki Zing Gen 3 which is 4-7kg vs Shimano Anarchy 6-12kg. Both are currently on offer for $140 at the major stores. The Anarchy is a fast action, slightly heavier in the hand, stiffer taper, heavier line and lure cast rating. The Zing Gen 3 is a bit lighter, though tippier, with a lesser line and cast rating. What would be your preference for a beach fishing rod on this first world dilemma? 😆
