  1. Think of the pump as an investment as you won't have to buy bait when pumping yabbies. It's 100% worth getting a pump I've had the same one for 10 years and it still works perfectly.
  2. Thanks so much for the info 🤙
  3. You've caught some nice fish there. I've just been used cheap crappy top water lures and am looking at getting a few quality lures, do you prefer the slippery dogs or the sugapens?
  4. Oh maybe that spots not the go then. also, I can not recommend al mcglashlans afn hawkesbury and pittwater fishing map, buy a paper version for 8 bucks, best fishing info out there for learning about Cowan Creek and the hawkesbury and fishing new spots around there for the first time.
  5. But pretty much any bit of flats with a bit of seaweed and structure in Cowan Creek has heaps of fish so find an accessible one then catch some big dogs
  6. Idk where the track is someone told me there was one there once, are you able to get there from the road?
  7. I reckon you don't go the way of the old fiberglass and look for a 2010-2012 quintrex escape 430 with a 40hp or something like that.
  8. I was up there a month ago, on low tide, try get to the flats at the end of coal and candle creek, can be accessed by a walking track near akuna bay, here's the Google maps link of the flats https://maps.app.goo.gl/hKFSnJ6NDUwjtnfcA There are heaps of whiting, bream and flathead around here, I found the most success using a Berkeley honeyball 38mm lure and yabbies. If possible the flats in yeoland bay are amazing but not sure if they are accessible by foot. There's also an odd abundance of squid around here as I had squid following my baits up so might be worth throwing a squid jig around the deeper bits. Good luck 🤙
  9. All knots, the line cuts into my skin when I pull on the knot super hard to tighten but it especially happens when I tie leader knots with the braid.
  10. I don't know if it's just me but Everytime I spend a day fishing, I come home with the sides of my 2 pointer fingers ripped up and sometimes cut from tying knots especially with heavy leader. I was wondering if anyone had some sort of magical knot tying solution that keeps your fingers safe? Cheers
  11. Another lure that's overlooked but works well when the kings are deep is the daiwa bait junkie prawns in 3' and 5'
  12. For navionics if you download the app it gives you a 16 day free trial which you don't need to put a credit card or anything in for and you can just keep deleting and reinstalling the app every 16 days.
  13. Blues points over rated find some random rocks that are right next to deep water on navionics and fish there
  14. If you wanna go for some bream whiting and flatties, go to the flats on high tide up the end of yeoland bay, pump yabbies if possible or use small lures.
