Hey guys got myself a fishing kayak last week and have been loving it, been taking it around narrabeen lake while I get used to it and have landed a few solid 50-70cm flathead and a couple other species but small all using lures, most of my catches have been east of the Woolworths bridge and up towards the caravan park. Have tried around the back areas of the lake with not much luck. Wondering if anyone would like to share some good spots in the lake to try kayak/boat based. Mostly targeting flatties but would love to catch some other species and the elusive big jewy that I know are in there. Caught my first 40cm jewy towards the caravan park wading land based a few weeks ago. But I’d imagine the bigger ones are in deeper water. Im also pretty keen to start taking it into Pittwater soon to chase some larger pelagics/kingies if anyone is keen to give me tips on some spots to try out and what lures to use. Places without too much boat traffic and easy enough to get to would be ideal Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated! Cheers
