Hi All, Had a little fish off avalon last night and caught a whopping bream and the a variety of rays and small sharks ( shovel nose and wobby). Anyway lots of bites but i think there are a lot of rays around. A

Not that big - all legal but I think 1kg - 2kg. It was hilarious as most were taking the bait from the just off the outboard.

Hi All, Have not a report for ages. Went to the FAD off broken bay last sunday morning and it was brilliant. There were 4 boats the at 7.30 and we just circled the fad and dropped live baits and then when they ran out we dropped pilkos and then when they ran out we dropped sqid and when that ran out we dropped a hook with a foil on it. All got taken by the dolphins - landed 15 and lost the equivilent. 10.00 am - all boats departed as did the fish. fun

Bled it straight away however he really swallowed the hook and was bleeding pretty badly when i landed him. Maybe that has something to with it.

I think i need to sleep on it - im also a liitle head coldy . Respond in the morning .

Hi Raiders, Went for a little beach bash at Avalon this morning and got a niice sambo and a great bream. Also a shark which i did not know of. Used just pilchards and they was a bit of action around. Best am

Hi Raiders, First Report. Caught this actually last week but lost the cord for the camera. Any way got this one off whale beach on Pilchards. Actually got 4 of them but this was the biggest (70cm). Let the rest go and made a curry out of this one. I also smoke salmon as well. Love the reports. AM

New to this site. So Gday. Started beach fishing 6 months ago on the northern Beachs and caught heaps. But latley i am only catching salmon where as prior i was getting all sorts. Is this just winter or should i try a different method. am
