Went out in the canoe with a mate yesterday. Hit the water about 6am. Water very low in the river due to the council pumping all the water into Mardi Dam. Managed 6 fish mostly small the biggest about 33cm. Dropped another two bigger ones. One of those days. First couple of fish on surface lure and the rest on a trasparent Crawdad. There are some real big bream in the river at the moment and I have found most of the action in the late afternoon. Regards Tezzablue
